English 2010
This was by far my favorite writing course. I learned that if you are writing about something which you you personally have a great interest in, you will really devote yourself to your papers. The idea of this course was to use the same subject (something unique and personal) and spread it across different formats and purposes. Unfortunately that didn't always work with some subjects, so the teacher allowed us to change subjects if we felt it necessary. However, I was able to stick to one subject across three of the major papers.
It just so happens that I am a relative to the number one suspect to the DB Cooper skyjacking case. The suspect, my great uncle William "Wolfgang" Gossett, is now deceased, but I was able to interview my great Aunt (his latest wife) and private investigator and author of a non-fiction novel (still to be released) about his investigations in the DB Cooper case, Galen Cook. Intrigued? I don't blame you. Below are my saved works from the course. They're not only fun to read, but very fun to look at. I did another DB cooper Project in Film 3500 at the University of Utah.
